Welcome to Nava Nalanda Tutoring Center
Designed to serve Elementary, Middle, and High school students. We created a multitude of programs to provide fun, motivation as well as a challenging environment that encourages students to get outside of their comfort zone, push past their preconceived boundaries, and build strong foundations in Mathematics.
About Us
Our Background
As I noticed that many kids in our community were struggling with Math and not getting enough support from their busy parents, I decided to start "Nava Nalanda Tutoring Center" to teach Math to kids in our community from elementary level to high school level instead of being another engineer in the Silicon Valley. I helped many stressed-out kids, enriched them with inspiration, and made them realize that not everyone learns in the same way. I have become successful to awaken genuine curiosity in our community’s young minds and created positive vibe in the community. As community service, I taught advanced Math, SAT Math in “Sikh Gurdwara” at Evergreen, San Jose. I helped them with Math homework.
Our Expertise
My students receive 100% of my quality teaching time. The class size is small by design, so that I can afford to offer individual attention to each student. I never delegate or time-share teaching jobs with an assistant or substitute teacher. Each class features an interactive lesson-plan with only 4 to 5 students, customized study plan, outside the box thinking, and real-life examples.
I not only offer high quality study materials, but also present helpful tools and professional guidance from start-to-finish. I guarantee to bring a great experience in learning math. My students received 800/800 in SAT Math. I help students with homework, quiz, test, SAT preparation, or on any clarification to mathematical concepts. I proudly say that most of students have received final grades A/A+.
Personalized Lessons
Got stuck with a Math problem after our regular session? We'll help you 24X7. Learning math skills and concepts can be like learning a new sport. Not everyone learns in the same way, so I create personalized lesson plans for each student. I target the weaknesses of each student and help build on their strengths. I support my students by first allowing them to solve the problems themselves. Only then I discover their challenges and then customize my tutoring to fulfill their requirements. I plan the lessons beforehand so that I deliver my part efficiently to the student. My tutoring is extensively focused on meeting their unique learning style and academic needs. I have designed different classes to fulfill the exact requirements of the students ranging from Regular level to Advanced level. I teach valuable problem-solving, critical reading, logical math, written and oral presentation skills - all available in one package.
